What the Chamber is doing for businesses during the COVID-19 evolving situation:

  1. We will continue to provide information to visitor questions via online, email and phone and provide referrals to businesses not affected by closures.
  2. We are assisting businesses by providing information unique to their individual needs and issues.
  3. We are planning our summer promotion in order to mitigate spring visitor volume loss.
  4. We are requesting our members send us information regarding your business operation and give us permission to share your hours/days of operations, online sales promotions or closure information.
  5. We are also requesting you send us confidential data on the economic impact to your business. It will stay confidential.
  6. We are engaged in the Central Oregon COVID-19 Recovery Team and meeting weekly.
  7. We are engaged in the Deschutes County Emergency Management Recovery Team.
  8. We are requesting businesses interested in Disaster Assistance loans to contact the Chamber.
  9. We are supporting The Nugget’s online directory ’Sisters Businesses Are Here to Serve’ at Contact The Nugget for more information
  10. We are sharing information regarding your business via our extensive social media platforms. Please contact us with information you would like shared with the public.
  11. We are working with the state and federal delegations providing information on the economic impacts to our local economy and advocating for solutions to assist our local businesses.
  12. We will be sending out a COVID-19 Business Impact Survey. Please respond to the survey as soon as possible.


**Rest assured the Chamber of Commerce is collecting vast amounts of information at this time regarding upcoming federal and state resources that will be available to small businesses. We are condensing the information so it makes sense to our members and is applicable to you. As soon as we have completed this process and the statutory and regulatory resources are passed by the state and federal government and are available we will pass this information on to you.
